Great list...I already copied it to my desktop from elsewhere.

I pray people get the message. I have a feeling that times will become like the little red hen story. She did all the work and then every other critter wanted to eat.

As we are preparing on our farm, I wonder who will show up after our toils and actually breaking raw land and expect us to care for them? I mean the warning signs are out there.

If that were my list I would add a few things such as home made soap and not antibacterial. Good homemade soap from lye or wood ashes is even more effective and environmentally sound. Plus once you know how to make it, you will never run out.
Also rainbarrels or water collection is becomming popular already because of limiting water resources in some places.
A water filter that removes bacteria; as well as other contaminents. Not all do.
Canning your own veggies, or making a cold cellar where you can store food or even hide it if necessary, incase uninvited guests come and want to take what you grew.
