Words of Wisdom...

"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy
out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything
that the government does not first take from somebody else.
When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work
because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other
half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is
going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end
of any nation.

You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."

~~~ The late Dr. Adrian Rogers , 1931 to 2005 ~~~
Yes, you can make wealth by dividing it, by taking the share of the people that actually produce it, not "manage" it. And we see how "a heck of a job" the management has been doing lately. The top 2% of our population control over 25% of our country's wealth, mostly garnered in the last 8 years, through pitiful wages, illegal labor, and tax cuts for the wealthy. You yourself might be doing well, but the people who actually produce goods and services are really hurting.
This is all inflationary and redistributionist economic policy, a short term fix for a real decline in wealth. We need to focus on increasing our individual and collective productivity. We're where we are because of inflationary monetary policy and the speculative investments it encouraged; you can't patch a leaking dam with more water.
Terry, I don't know you but you sound as if you approve of the "change" group. I make a pretty good wage for our region. I work my butt off doing it at times. I don't feel I should make as much money as the Person that owns the Company does. He gave me a job. If obamasan takes more of his money to support those that won't work, how will he expand the Company so he can hire more People? He won't, thats how. Who do you think provides jobs in this Country? You want to attack those same People that supplies jobs? Don't blame Bush for all our woes, Congress has been screwing us for years.
